Every Birthday is Special – And Nobody Knows This More Than Bridget.
After being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) in 2012 at just three years of age, she spent the next year in and out of intense treatment and became cancer free just over a year later.
In 2015 her cancer returned, and she had to endure a second bone marrow transplant. Her situation was constantly monitored over the next few years – and after X rounds of chemotherapy and 2 bone marrow transplants – Bridget is now once again cancer free! Now that is something worth celebrating.
